Yet another one from the archive, one of the last covers I recorded with Jahnavi Bhat last year. Together we are ‘But Why’ the band. Unfortunately, we don’t live in the same city now and can’t gig together anymore. However, I hope we can come up with such covers whenever the opportunity presents itself. Cheers!
From their legendary 1975 album Wish You Were Here, this is one of Pink Floyd’s finest songs. In its entirety, this sonic masterpiece consists of 9 parts and is around 26 mins long. Definitely, a 4-minute acoustic cover cannot do justice to it. But does the song still prove to be listenable? Of course, it does.
