Sian Evans' journey with music and her voice has seen her explore the continent playing numerous festivals and connecting with the full spectrum of pro muso’s over numerous genre’s and styles. These days she be settlin’ into a fine concave of folk/roots, alt-country/soul-grass and old tyme goodness, folk music being the master nest and absolute place of heart felt home fuelling her latest EP “How time has treated thee” with Aria award winning producer, Govinda Doyle, featuring the single “Take me Home” pondering the simple joys, and title track “Blackest Crow”, Sian’s version of Traditional American folk song, amongst a few other mountainous ditty’s showcasing her latest banjo slinging skills, and of course the cream crop that is her angelic yet gritty vocal pipes.

Her creative endeavours have spurred successful projects in dinky ragtime/jazz (Pollysassin), flood-folk bluegrass (The Rusty Datsuns) as well as her own solo gypsy-jazz/ roots works (Bessy-Lou). .

The lass is somewhat grateful of the intense depths of auto-analysis powering the engines of song and play. Performing personal endearments of Sian-ified versions of material from The Rusty Datsuns or similar and homemade tunes in an array of genre’s (mostly leaning toward that folk-roots and blues infused alt-country style thing she's currently got going on) and anything else she uncovers and makes sentiment to, she'll sing on her stage.

With a number of achievements under her belt
she’s one of those artists that sits a solid solo show, vocally, instrumentally and is authentic in personality and mood.
