Description

This is a composite assembly of several pieces and I hope @Somang and everyone doesn't mind.

The music, lyrics, and arrangement was all done by Somang (stylized as 50mang) and the original release video with vocals provided by Korean Vocaloids Seeu and Uni can be found here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEeS-Ljbr50

The vocals used are from the Official "human cover", sung by Dalnodo and Dawn as The Darkness and The Child, as can be found here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9q4U_zxfxg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A04zISAQay4

The video I liked best is from Sankrim's cover, which can be found here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwosXnsuHvU

I then translated several translations and subtitled the resulting video hopefully capturing what I think Somang's intent would be in another language. I'm just a fan and I hope to make Somang's hard work more accessible to others. I don't speak Korean unfortunately, so will share some other comments I found to help explain the content.

For English viewers who are curious about the song:
The lyrics are describing a Korean mythical creature called the eodugsini. It only appears at night and grows larger and larger until it crushes you, but shrinks if you look down on it. The safest way to come out alive is to ignore it until it goes away. Researchers speculate it's a representation of the innate human phobia of the dark and the creature preys on our fear.
But this song has a different interpretation of the eodugsini. Instead of coming off as an intimidating figure, the eodugsini is comforting a human. It seduces the human into the shadows, convincing them to come back to the darkness, where everything was born from.

And from @gB-gp9xj (who also posted a translation of the lyrics which was very helpful as well) explains the Sanskrit in the song that is displayed in parenthesis in the subtitles:

(huru huru huru, kuru stu)
(Mile, Mile, mrdhe mrje, hara hire)
This sentence is a Sanskrit phrase from the Buddhist scripture "Dasa Cakra Ksitigarbha Sutra".
