Description
"Over the Rainbow" is a ballad by Harold Arlen with lyrics by Yip Harburg. It was written for the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, in which it was sung by actress Judy Garland.
On the album Facing Future (1993), Israel Kamakawiwoʻole included "Over the Rainbow" in a ukulele medley with "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong.
NOTE: I understand this might not be a shocker for a lot of you, especially for US citizens, but The Wizard of Oz is not that popular in other countries. Also, the original version by Judy Garland has 50M views on YouTube while Israel's version has 1,2B views, so I decided to share this cover.
