Description
The fifth in a short series of weekly songs recorded in the garden. 'Lay me Down' is a song I wrote around 1992 during the terrible conflict in Serbia-Croatia and what is sometimes called the former Yugoslavia. Beyond the actual geography of the war it is a song of the suffering that echoes through every age.
