I now have a google spreadsheet of all my karaoke and open duet songs to date for easier browsing:

I made the lyrics video myself and used a youtube video of the instrumental to create a 'karaoke' video.
The text has no timer/ticker and looks very scuffed, but if you know the song well enough it shouldn't be a problem.
I've also tried a sort of lead in for the text, so when it's half visible, don't sing, but when it's fully visible, then sing.
