I was given the opportunity to play on a 9 feet concert grand Bechstein D282 ($340,000) at Piano Vertu, Montreal.

I was not ready to record this theme from Succession (I had only started to figure yout the song by ear few days before) and had very little time to do so Also adjusting to this monster of an instrument was challenging. Nevertheless I did my best and with a bit of improv, it worked out.

My feedback on the D282: I played all other top pianos in the store after this recording and nothing felt like a 'piano' anymore, all like honky tonk....Try and forget ;)
