I hope you're all well.

2025 marks 80 years since the publication of ‘The Three Railway Engines’: the first of 26 entries in 'The Railway Series' by the Reverend W. Awdry.

Many amazing things have happened to mark this anniversary, but as someone who can't imagine life without Wilbert's characters, I knew I had to make something to show my appreciation for the presence they have always maintained in my life. Hence, this video, which has been in the works since May 2024.

I would love to acknowledge everyone who has made it possible: from the amazing voice cast, to Nathan who composed a stellar soundtrack and the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum who very generously allowed me into the replica of the Awdry study itself: thank you all for giving this story the celebratory oomph it needed!

I have never been so nervous, but oh so proud of a video. I hope you enjoy.
