The legendary Taj Mahal visited The Church Studio and graciously spared some time to sit down and talk with us! In this short, he tells us about how mesmerized he was the first time he heard Leon Russell's "A Song For You."

Taj Mahal is an American Blues legend, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actor, and film composer. Over his 50+ year career, he has received the American Music Association's Lifetime Achievement Award, three Grammy Awards, and ten Grammy nominations. Taj is also a mind-boggling, multifaceted musician, playing guitar, piano, banjo, harmonica, and more than 20 total instruments.
