“Cathedral Song” is the second song from the 1988 Tanita Tikaram album, “Ancient Heart” for WEA Records – song composed by Tanita Tikaram. I was twenty-two years old when this album was released – Iv'e loved this song, and the album since. I once owned it on cassette and wound up playing it to near death in my travels as an aspiring sign painter. It’s too bad Tanita hasn’t visited Canada for quite some time...although I do recall she visited Vancouver once – most likely on tour for this album; unfortunately at that time, I was living in the United States and missed my only opportunity.
