Ted Knight was an American comedian best known for his appearances in The Mary Tyler Moore Show and his catch-phrase was “Hi Guys”. When he was persuaded to make a record it was only natural that it should be called “Hi Guys” and guess what? Most of the lyrics try and mention the catch-phrase “Hi Guys” as well. And that’s it really. A fairly unknown comic singing a song called “Hi Guys”. It’s not even a very funny record.
