Tell Me Something Good - Rufus - Bass Cover - Request

Hello :) This is the requested transcription I've done of the Rufus song "Tell Me Something Good" from 1974 that Dennis Belfield played bass on.

This song...I developed a kind of "love-hate" relationship with it. I love the song and feel (it is a sexy song :P but I kind of "hated" learning and writing it out. It made my head hurt and was hard to do ;), but now that it's done I love it again :)

This is the 3rd version I did. The first version I had the guitar playing on the upbeats, but then when I got to the chorus I had an extra 8th note. On the 2nd version, I started using odd time signatures, but that didn't seem correct either. In the end, I realized it all be counted in 4 and that I just had to get through the intro. If I could get past the intro, I'd be ok. So the trick for me was being able to count "&1 &2 &3 etc while playing and remembering that the guitar is playing on the downbeats.

What also made this difficult was the bass keyboard part playing along with the bass, but I discovered by putting the mix "out of phase", I could hear subtle bass notes that I wasn't hearing in the normal mix...and once I heard them, I couldn't "un-hear" them, so I had to notate it and put it in the score ;)

I'd like to mention too that if I was in a band and playing this in a live setting, I wouldn't worry or even try to play this exactly like the transcription.
