Description
This three piece folk rock trio from Boston have been making waves in the genre in the past few years with their unique use of the cello and their powerful, well-composed songs about everything from the classic love and heartbreak to conflicts within the band itself. They found time in their busy touring schedule with Phillip Phillips to stop by and play a song from their most recent album, Deadeye. “Bees,” sung solo by guitarist Martin, is one of their most exemplary songs, showcasing their wandering and beautiful lyricisym as well as their songwriting skill. If you didn’t get a chance to see them on their tour stop in March, you can be sure they’ll be back soon. And in the meantime, check out their new EP, Paper Crown, and give them a follow on social media.

Pseudo Stereo is a production of Radio UTD, the student-run radio station for the University of Texas at Dallas, with the help of our partners UTD TV. These sessions feature up and coming acts from Texas alongside our favorite bands from across the nation to support our city’s music community. It’s a tough job but someone’s got to do it at UTD.
