The Beatles Get Back (The Rooftop Performance) – The APPLE Rooftop Concert
"APPLE FILM LTD BEATLES SHOW". The legendary Rooftop Film Concert was the Beatles' last public performance, on January 30, 1969, when they performed an impromptu concert on the roof of the Apple Corps headquarters at 3 Savile Row, in central London's business and fashion district. The band played until the Metropolitan Police arrived and ordered them to turn down the volume. The performance was filmed with 10 cameras. During the concert, The Beatles used Shure SM57 microphones for vocals and AKG D112 for drums. These microphones, although not the most modern at the time, were chosen for their reliability and ability to handle the high volume of the concert.
