The Canyon ocean,
Expanse far and deep,
On top the mountain sojourn,
It does not speak.

All memories have lived here,
All have died,
All have passed on here,
Swallowed by the tide.

Come and gone,
The Canyon,
Sings it's song,
Dedicated to no one.

To no one,
Without mercy,
Without pause,
The song we gaze upon,
Absent of cause.

The terror of this ocean deep,
May tremble the heart,
Peer into it bravely,
Trust it will depart.

Then this Canyon Song,
If merciful,
Will fill your heart.
