This is one of my all-time favorite songs. It came out in 1982 when I was around 13 and in junior high school. It’s one of those songs that you either love it or hate it and I fell in love with it immediately. It’s been used in several movies such as “hot tub Time Machine“, “Kingpin “, “200 and cigarettes“ and “sky high“ to name a few. I hope you enjoy it…

 Hi, this is your first time here my name is Matt and I do covers from the 50s, 60s some 70s and 80s New Wave and Punk. I try to sound as close to the artist as possible. I originally started recording these because I had a friend of mine who was depressed and I couldn’t figure out a way to cheer him up, so I started sending him songs. He’s doing better now. After that, I would post them on Facebook as a protest for all the political stuff. I thought my mediocre guitar playing in less than mediocre singing would get people to stop posting political stuff. Well that didn’t happen, but something amazing happened. People started asking me for more. So, I kept going and here we are!

My mission here is to give everybody a break from the negativity and allow them to have a little fun for a while. So sit back, relax and let the music take you back!
