So as part of a challengers group I have going with some buddies of mine, we had to complete the full "BRING SALLY UP" push up challenge by the end of the week. After watching a number of failed attempts of YouTube and few successful ones, I was stoked that I was able to complete it on my first go.
...and WOW! What a chest pump! I've started throwing this in at the start of my chest sessions.
If you don't know what the "Bring Sally Up" push up challenge is, let me explain:
To the track "Flower" by Moby (you may recognise it from the start of Gone In 60 Seconds... What a movie!) you need to perform the upwards phase of a push up when the lyrics say "bring Sally up" and the downwards phase of a push up when the lyrics say "bring Sally down".
...sounds simple, right?
Well with a number of short verses thrown in the mix which have you holding the low position for short whiles, it soon gets real tough! Oh, and I should have mentioned... there's no resting by lying on the floor... you're either holding the top position, or you're holding yourself off the ground in the low position.
