Today I performed for our veterans at a Remembrance Day ceremony, as I do every year, and it never fails to move me when I sing for these brave men and women. There was a request this morning for this heartbreaking song, The Green Fields of France, and miraculously I got throughout it without choking up. Ever since I was a small child this song has made me cry, long before I understood the lyrics and what it was about. I'm so grateful to be able to offer something small back to our veterans, after all they've given us.
