This song is from my album on Jumpsuit Records, “Embraced,” titled “Heavenly Bodies”. It was written in Haiku, Maui at Peace Paradise, the home of Stephanie “Stevie” Farago and features Johnne “Super-Johnne” Perez. The song is an embodiment of the late “Steven Arnold”, a visionary creator who died in 1994. Over the years, Steven and Stephanie have been integral teachers on my journey and have helped teach me how to express my inner artist.

Over the last few years, I’ve spent a lot of time in Maui connecting with the land, writing music, and spending time at Peace Paradise drawing, dancing, learning, expressing myself. Stephanie embraced me not only as friend and fellow artist, but as a son. She believed in my art and made it possible to find sanctuary in a place that feels safe to express one’s self.

This song is dedicated to Steven and Stephanie who now inspire my life from the other side. Stephanie passed away last July 11th, 2014. She was 70 years old and still shined like a star.

The lyrics by Johnne Perez are about sewing the worlds together and removing the vail. The spirit is eternal and when the vail is lifted, one sees that we are all one.

Thank you Stephanie for helping me learn to express myself! I feel your spirit.
