THE LEGO MOVIE 2 THE SECOND PART REVIEW
-WITHOUT SPOILERS-
The first movie of this universe was sincerely a masterpiece of the animated cinema, LEGO Batman was good and LEGO ninjago was regularly bad, but The LEGO movie 2 was ... a beauty in a few words.
I was going to say spoilers, but I prefer that you get excited for yourselves.
This film begins just as the first installment ends, that is when the double LEGOs invade bricksburg and destroy everything even though Emmett (played by the great Chris Pratt) tried to convince them not to do it.
Some years later (I do not remember how many) brikcsburg is devastated and everyone lives like a mad max movie. The only inhabitant who still retains his optimism that characterizes it is Emmet who continues to act as if nothing had happened. The terrible experience has hardened most of the citizens of "Apocalypseburg", but Emmett remains optimistic and wants to move into the house of his dreams with Lucy. However, Emmet is worried about the dreams of a pending armamageddon and Lucy worries that Emmett is not very tough to survive these days.
Suddenly a strange flying object breaks into the city and attacks Emmett and Lucy, who take refuge with the rest of the citizens in a cave to be safe. The crew of the ship, the general mayhem manages to enter the cave and kidnaps Lucy, Batman, Benny, Unikitty and MetalBeard to take them to queen Watevra Wa'Nabi of the Systar system.
Emmet decides to undertake a mission in search of his friends and on the way he runs into Rex Dangervest which is all the characters of Chris Pratt in one. He helps Emmet look for his friends and on the trip he teaches him to "mature" to be like Lucy wants him to be.
Okay. I'm going to stop relating to this point to be able to tell my experience and because I do not want to fill them with spoilers.
The first LEGO movie was already very good and I loved it, but the second one was the best, from the animation to the music and the characters. Everything in this film is very well handled and with a slight touch-up superior to the first one. We have back the characters seen in the LEGO movie (2014) in addition to the inclusion of new and endearing characters such as Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi played by Tiffany Haddish, rex played by Chris Pratt himself, Aquaman by Jason Momoa, Balthazar the Vampire which is an obvious reference to the Twilight Vampire and the General Mayhem. In addition to a funny cameo by Bruce Willis as himself.
Speaking of characters, the general sweet mayhem played by Stephanie Beatriz was my favorite character of the whole movie, I thought it was very nice; the truth is that I liked it and only that I will say about it and then, it's pretty ... # ForeverInMyHeart.
As for the premise, I think they did a good job again by combining this imaginary world of LEGO with its real-life counterpart, just as they did in the first film. At the end I left very happy with the cinema because I realized that this is the best movie of LEGO for cinema and in general in fact, it is a film made with the heart and the soundtrack (which was what I loved the most). perfect, the best musical scenes are taken by the character Watevra Wa'Nabi. The rest of the music is excellent, the background music combines perfectly with all this wave of nice space and colorful while the songs are amazing, the catchy song is very sticky and the theme of the credits was my favorite song of all the movie.
I did not want to give them spoilers because the film has a very unexpected turn at the end that left me impacted and totally changed the meaning of the story, but believe me, you will not be disappointed.
In conclusion, the LEGO movie 2 the second part is the best LEGO movie made so far, there was a time when I felt a reference to infinity war and I almost cried (again) but in the end I got a big surprise, the truth is I recommend this movie a lot because it is one of those stories that really move you and that you want to see more than once, I really when I saw it, I was moved and moved a lot.
good reviews, is not having very good reception at the box office and perhaps is due to the fact that after the disappointment of ninjago not many are interested in seeing the LEGO movie 2 but have no idea. It really is a film that exceeds all my expectations, these themes of space travel, alternate dimensions and temporal paradoxes is something that incredible me to see in movies and the LEGO movie 2 the second part meets all the requirements to be a memorable movie where everything is awesome.
My rating for this movie is: 10/10
From the soundtrack you listen to Beck feat. Robyn & The Lonely Island with the theme "super cool".
Thanks for watching.
