Drum cover of The Middle a song by the American alternative rock band Jimmy Eat World.

It was released in November 2001 as the second single of their fourth album Bleed American. It was a top five Billboard Hot 100 hit in 2002. The song was a breakthrough hit for Jimmy Eat World (who had self-financed the recording of the Bleed American album after having been dropped by Capitol Records in 1999). The track is featured in the music video game Rock Band 2, as well as Guitar Hero: World Tour.

I'm often asked how I can turn out so many covers, well, I've played in 100s of cover bands and when playing a cover gig there are usually 4 sets of 9-10 songs each, that's 36-40 songs. Well imagine turning on the camera as you play them. No different in the studio, except now I'm not limited to 40 songs.
