There once was a son who said, “Dad, I’m done!
I want my share—I want some fun!”
He packed his bags and said, “So long!”
And just like that, the boy was gone.

He bought new shoes and a fancy hat,
He threw big parties and things like that.
But soon his coins were all long gone,
And his friends had vanished, one by one.

He found a job that made him gag—
Feeding pigs from a slop-filled bag!
He stood with slop beneath his feet
And wished for something good to eat.

He stood and thought, in mud and slop,
“I’ll go back home and work for Pop.
