After a long and ferocious career inside the boxing ring and a wild life outside, Ray finally bears all his physical and emotional scars whilst desperately trying to reconcile with his estranged son. Shot in black-and-white and set against the backdrop of a classic, time-honoured boxing gym. Written by BAFTA winner and 8th Dan martial artist Geoff Thompson and brought to the screen by award winning filmmakers the Shammasian brothers. The role won James Cosmo the Best Performance in a British Feature Film at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and received resounding critical praise.
