The Real Group is a professional a cappella ensemble from Sweden, in constant development since its formation in 1984. The Real Group is one of the leading forces in the world of vocal music today. Their combination of perfections, personal touch and their wide repertoire have made it possible for the group to collaborate with symphony orchestras, jazz groups, popbands, and international artists. The Real Group sang at the opening ceremony of the 2002 FIFA World Cup, and LG made a cell phone based on their sound, called a cappella phone!
The group members have changed through the years, recently welcoming Lisa Östergren on alto and Jānis Strazdiņš on bass position. New members brought fresh energy to the sound that remains recognizably strong and close to perfection.
