As usual, set for highest rez, buffer, turn up, and enjoy Thanksgiving weekend in Athens, Ga. at The Melting Point. They played two sets, each started off by Rick's Band, then joined mid-way by Beverly "Guitar" Watson. The sound from the camera mic is pretty good but the vocals are being picked up from the monitors and ambient reflection since the PA mains overshoot the camera position. To get the best resolution possible, there're no credits edited into the footage - it's right off the camera (Panasonic AG-HMC40). The band consists of Rick Fowler - vcl, gtr / Michael Doke - slide gtr, vcl / Deane Quinter - drums / Greg Veale - bass / (special guest) Tim White - Hammond. Great guys and musicians who are a perfect foil for Beverly and her authentic, heartfelt blues.
