Description
The iconic State Flag Flypast is carried out by two CH-47 heavy lift helicopters, each escorted by two AH-64D Apache attack helicopters, during the National Anthem. This is followed by Six F-15SG fighters executing an enhanced bomb burst manoeuvre with afterburners in a delta formation, then four F-16 fighters flying through in a diamond formation to commemorate Singapore’s diamond jubilee. As a special tribute to 60 years of nationhood, contingents from our Uniformed Youth Organisations form the phrase “Majulah 60” on the Padang.
