A classic Ray Charles Christmas song that is best known for its brief play in the movie Christmas Vacation. The electric piano is pretty far down in the mix most of the time so this is a way to be able to hear it more distinctly. Ray does such a good job of not overplaying and adding just what is needed to create such an atmosphere of sentimentality. You can see how he uses 6th's in various places and just a tinge of soul to add some character to the song. This is a pretty slow and simple song to learn and would be great to entertain friends and family over the holidays. Hope you have a great time!
