The Tern & The Swallow, performed alongside the wonderful Tiffany Schaefer. This folk song, written by Nailly Coney, is about an Irishman living in the US, dreaming of his home back on the shores of Lough Neagh. My mother grew up in the Washing Bay, on the Tyrone side of the river Blackwater, and I have many relatives living there still. So this song brings back many fond memories of my grandmother and the happy Summers there with my with my cousins that seemed to last forever.
