Description
The Whippoorwills (recorded in the early 1950s) were a very talented group that was not a commercial success and (never had a hit record) but they did have steady work for many years. Led by the stellar guitar work from Roy Lanham with some great mandolin from Doug Dalton. Sweet Georgia Brown adds some excellent vocal on several tunes. They were a fine band that should not be forgotten just because they didn't have commercial success. They made some great music......Enjoy
