--- ABOUT ME ---
I'm an adult beginner violinist. I'm 33 now and I have been playing for 3 years. I remember the first time I touched my violin, I really didn't know anything about the violin. It sounded horrible, but I was so happy!! I had great dreams for my violin and I am very excited with what I've learned so far. I'm mostly self-taught. I use YouTube tutorials from Heather Broadbent, Todd Ehle (professorV), Zlata Brouwer, Nathan Cole, Eddy Chen, Joy Lee and some others. But now I'm also learning through a video exchange program from Artistworks (https://artistworks.com/CoG) with violin teacher Richard Amoroso. I like that way of learning very much since it's so personalized, the feedback is great and there are so many lessons in the program! It makes my violin adventure easier and gives me more stability, something I felt I really needed after more than 2 years of learning on my own.
