The poet paints a bleak picture of the winter of feeling loveless and lonely. For linguists, the word 'ajuar', is an interesting choice by the lyricist, since its normal meaning is dowry or trousseau as in that of a bride, perhaps hinting at the female source of the narrator's sorrow. In my interpretation, I have continued this allusion... I hope you like my choice of picture too.

El invierno con su blanco ajuar,
Ya la escarcha comenzó a brillar
En mi vida sin amor.

Profundo padecer
Que me hace comprender,
Que hallarse solo, es un horror.

Y al ver...

Brumas de un invierno,
