Ukuleles for Peace is an Israeli Arab - Jewish youth orchestra. The song Akher Ayam Al Sayfieh اخر ايام الصيفيه, which was made famous by the Lebanese diva, Fairuz, was writter by the Rahbani brothers, Assi and Mansour, for the musical "Mays el Reem". This clip was recorded at Ukuleles for Peace performance at the "Bridges for Peace" end of project ceremony in Petach Tikva , June 1st 2016 . The project is organized by Peres Peace Center for Ort vocational schools in Israel. It brought together Arab and Jewish youth for a year long activity in order to give the adolescents an opportunity to get to know one another and cooperate with one another. The project was supported by the Cesaria fund and by Google.
