When I first heard "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield, I was around 19, living in Brazil, standing at the edge of adulthood, full of dreams for my future.
I didn’t speak English then, but music has a way of reaching the heart before the mind understands the words. I would look up the lyrics of songs that moved me, and Unwritten did not fail to match the feeling it gave me the very first time I heard it.

This song was one of the first I ever recorded in a studio, just for fun, and I even uploaded it to YouTube. Eventually, I took it down, caught in a wave of self-criticism like so many of us are. But no matter what, Unwritten has stayed with me, like a personal reminder that my story is mine to write, and that taking leaps of faith is part of living a life true to myself.

So, here’s to the songs that remind us who we are, and who we’re becoming. 💫Hope you like it.
