Description
what does music from the viking age sound like?
Viking music was clearly different from the later style of songs from the time of the christian middle ages. We don't know excactly how a piece of viking music sounded, since no lyrics where written down and the vikings didn't have any knowledge about writing down the music.
Still, the piece of music "Drømde mik en drøm i nat" might give us a clue of the viking style. This written down piece from the early 1300s have the style and the harmony with the older viking style instruments. #shorts #vikingmusic #medieval #earlymusic #vikingage #vikings
