It all started with an Instagram live, every Tuesday at midday I would jump on a livestream, coffee in hand. That given Tuesday I declared “Today we’ll write a song!” It was only after my grand declaration that I gave it full thought, realizing that writing in front of people would be much harder and more terrifying than otherwise. But I couldn’t go back on my word now, so we were doing it. I myself felt a connection to the buzzing and chirping I heard outdoors while playing banjo on my front porch. Thankfully my neighbors like the banjo. - David Howley
