In my previous upload I mentioned how Greg Sage was a massive supporter of Napalm Beach so it’s only natural that his band Wipers are up next. This recording in particular is the only one with this drummer who’s name has sadly been lost to time. He joined the band to record this singular song after Sam Henry left the band, and before Brad Naish hopped on as the Wipers new drummer (their hiatus in 84 ended the Naish era). On the RSD release Greg says that his style was different and that he didn’t really gel with the band. I’m quite glad that this recording still exists as in my opinion this is the most unique Wipers lineup considering the fact that Dave Koupal the original bassist had not yet left the band. Whether or not more recordings from this lineup exist is something to inevitably be pondered over, but for now this remains the only example of their prowess! Turn it up and let loose everyone
