Are malice, lies, and deceit.

They scatter the sheep and soothe with lies,
They flatter, they twist, they spin.
They promise peace while bringing death,
And never call out sin.

Wolves in wool, they devour the fold—
Preaching sin to hearts grown cold.
Test the word - and test the man—
Always hold fast to God's Bible-plan.

The wolf will howl behind a sweet hymn—
- But Christ will always silence him.
