We were not able to find out any credible information about The Keytones. One of our loyal subscribers, Ken Cohen aka Brooklyn Mint speculates they were from Newark, New Jersey!
The Keytones are just one of the many very talented vocal groups that recorded for Old Town Records. This is one of my favorite 2-siders. (two “GREAT” ballads).
This upload is the first press of “WONDER OF THE WORLD”, value 25 years ago was $250.00.
Old Town Records 2nd pressed it as ““SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD”, twice by The Keytones (yellow label) and on a black label (with the moon)…both pressings hold a lesser value!
