This shoro-style melody, which was originally called "Tico-Tico no Farelo", was recorded for the first time by Orquestra Colbaz in 1931, and was later renamed "Tico-Tico no Fubá".
7 years after the death of Zequinha de Abreu, in 1942, the Walt Disney Company released the animated film "Hello, friends", in which a disgustingly quacking Donald Duck performed the song "Tico-tico". The original lyrics to the music were written by Aloisio de Oliveira. And in 1947, the famous Brazilian singer and actress Carmen Miranda sang this song in the movie "Copacabana", after which the triumphal march of "Tico-tico" across the world began.
